When the magic happen?

Athlete.

We’ve all heard the phrase “The magic happens outside your comfort zone”. But have you ever fully gotten the meaning of this? The truth is, breaking out of your comfort zone requires a lot courage. Effort. Dedication. You have to face the fear of the unknown. Jump in the deep end. Trust in your hard work and put your faith in the future. Scared? You should be. It’s frightening. But it’s even more rewarding. Here’s what is takes to step out of your comfort zone and why it’s totally worth it.

You must make the decision alone.

Doing something you have never done before requires making a decision. A life-changing decision. And although you will never be alone on your journey, you will be on your own for this. You and only you alone can decide to take the first step. Others can encourage. They can motivate. But they can never walk in your shoes. Your actions must come from within. Ask yourself: What do you want to achieve? Would you like to be better, stronger, fitter? Then, make your decision to get there.

There will be times when it’s hard!

The truth about greatness is: Getting there is not easy. You will have doubts. Tell yourself that your goal is unreachable. There will be a point when you want to quit. But this is all in your mind. It’s scared. Your mind prefers being comfortable. Because it doesn’t know any better. It’s unaware of what’s beyond your comfort zone. Trust us, there is so much in store.

Why it will all be worth it?

The pain, the struggle and the doubts are all a part of your journey to greatness. Stepping out of the comfort zone proves your strength and endurance. Teaches you discipline and determination. You will see things from another point of view. Discover a new side of yourself. And in the end you will understand that the real magic does not happen only once you’ve broken out of your comfort zone itself. But rather the journey of getting there.

One choice

Long time ago the Assyrian King wanted to find a husband for his daughter. So he told her to wait in the balcony of a very high tower, and whoever could reach her would have the princess as wife. Many tried, but the way up seems to be treacherous. Sharp thorns, slippery walls, arrow heads, the tower seems to be impossible to climb. Until one day when the Prince of Baghdad was passing by. And when he looked up, he suddenly felt lost in the deepness of the princess green’s eyes. And he felt in love. He was not a warrior by nature, nor did he have the strength to climb. But he was in love, and he was trained by the last Old Mage of the past. So when he felt the calling of her beauty, he magically flied to the balcony, and the lived happily ever after.

Teach me now!

I was working as usually, washing dishes in some restaurant in the town centre of Manchester. I do not know what happen, but lately i was not myself. Like something was missing. I think that all started last month when i had a holiday in Peru. A magical place, and what's more interesting, in one of the boat trips in the rain forest we meet a bunch of unusual locals. They called themselves The Lost Tribe. For two days we stayed there. In the evening we gathered together around the fire. And because our guide could understand nomatsiguenga dialect they spoken, he translated for us their stories. A beautiful oral tradition, speaking about our place in the world and our mission in life. They even had their shamans, and next morning i was talking with them for hours, about healing, about plants, about changes and many other things. It was fascinating to found about Camu Camu berry regenerating properties, the lipstick tree - annatto, used as insect repellent and sun protector, Clavillia, cocoa tree, Glaviola fruit, the sacred Icoja bark that can teach you how to heal yourself, Sangre de Drago and many, many others. I could not stop to ask again and again about all this knowledge, that probably will dissapear when the rain forest will be no more, Yavari told me, complaining once again about the massive deforestation. Sadly, we were on the schedule, and we left next day. After we wish each other well and said our goodbyes, one of the old shamans looked at me and I was gifted with one satchel, trying to tell me something. "Put some under the tongue, before you fall asleep!" our guide translated. I look inside and i could see some green and brown plants powder. I thank them once more. And here I am, two weeks later. As soon as I came home i tried the Peruvian remedy. First time was incredibly, and i have no words to describe the experience. At the beginning is was like a shock wave, expanding with me in the centre of it, and i become aware of my house, my town, the entire region, planet, solar system. Maybe this sound like a 'cliche', but I was becoming one with the universe. I could feel the tree in my garden, every being from my city, with their worries, inner thoughts, secret dreams. A rose flowering in my parents place, 2000 miles away. A camel drinking water somewhere close to Abu Dhabi. A child crying in a fast train close to Tokyo. I've seen the events before they happen, only as an intention. I could feel the grass from Anfield Road. Time was there and was not, as i could see stars born only to die a second after. Big Bang, Expansion. Contraction. And after that another Big Bang. I cannot describe This. Like i was aware of everything, like I was becoming the Universe. And next thing that i know, I was asleep. Day by day, a could not wait for night to come. And here we are yesterday, the satchel being empty. I feel like a genie without his bottle. I feel normal, if i can define this as normality. I feel limited, existing only in this place, at this moment. I cannot find my place.
- One vegetarian sandwich, please! You need to wake up, mate. I'm hungry! I could hear a voice behind the counter. I look to the blonde girl in front of me, in her twenties, Tesco uniform. I see her name tag, I read the name and i could not stop laughing.

Who am i ?

The mightiest of the gods come over me,
His trident sliced my own time,
Leaving me only that tiny moment called present,
Hidden between past and future.
Blue was the half moon in his hair,
And my heart suddenly remember
That I am Him, and He is me.
I'm home again.

Aurus (epic fantasy)

I was in center of London, when i could see a jewelry shop. I entered inside, because i found my necklace broken one week ago. Inside it was an old man, and he looked familiar to me. I asked if he think that he can repair my necklace. He smiled.
-'Thoughts are free and are subject to no rule. On them rests the freedom of man, and they tower above the light of nature.' But what i think is not your problem here. It's what i can do. And yes, i can repair your jewel. Wait five minutes.
I sit down and i took a look around. Nice paintings on the wall, all with alchemic theme. It was like i just blink and the jeweler was back.
   - Fifteen pounds, he told me.
I paid and i left the shop. But the really strange thing was few days later, when i finished my book about Ho'oponopono and i took another. 'Secrets of the nature' by Paracelsus. And from the first page the familiar face of the jeweler smiled back to me.
A brand new day begin for me. And i am happy. Because i know that the philosophical stone, the one who give us immortality, is real. And all old legends are true.

Quote of the day

The trick is in what one emphasizes. We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves happy. The amount of work is the same.

I always remember...

...the day when i meet her once more. It was strange. And funny.
1 mile away it was a concert, i don't remember now who was singing on that beach. The sand was moved in curious shapes only by the wind, and the sea was blue. And quiet. The sun was just a pale light, at the far end of the world. Few moments until he vanished in the water.

And she started to dance. But in those moments, she was not a girl dancing, she was the Dance himself. Her moves, and if i looked far away, i was just seeing the light gattering and glimmering near her. She was dancing in large circles, and each move of her hand was something so intense, like an act of will, capable to make or to destroy worlds made from dream and imagination.

It was the first and last time when i have seen the Dance of Seven Veils.

And i still remember, like a whisper...

"First for the earth...."

Looked like a tribal dance for me, who bring my memories of a far Africa.

"Two for the water..."

And i never has seen such passion and fascination in any dance.

"Three for the fire..."

And everything around as was covered by flames.

"Four for the air..."

And the wind was around us, teasing.

"Five for the void..."

And she stopped, but all the nature near us was still dancing.

"Six for the wisdom..."

And i really could feel the shockwaves of pure white "something" .

"Seven for the soul. "

And, for a second, i was just her, and she was me. I can't really explain what happen. I forgot to tell that, with every count, some of her clothes was dropped. And after she said "seven..", she just stop, and my mind too. The most beautiful women was in front of me, perfect from any point of view.

"If is not possible to meet you in this life, see you in next one!" she said, and gave me an innocent smile.

After that the wind blur my vision, and she just disapear. Even now, after 7 years, i still thinking sometimes at that day, and i wish i could say: "Maybe it was just a dream."

Two soft hands cover my eyes, and a familiar voice whisper me:
"Maybe..."

It's her voice.
